On investment cooperation
In 2020 Lithuania ranked seventh among the main countries-investors in the economy of Belarus: the total volume of Lithuanian investments into the Belarusian economy has reached 236,5 million dollars, including 225,3 million dollars of direct investments.
As of January 1st, 2021, 574 companies with Lithuanian investments were operating in Belarus, including 274 companies in the form of a joint venture and 300 in the form of a foreign enterprise. About 250 enterprises have been established in Lithuania with Belarusian investments.

A number of large investment projects with the participation of Lithuanian capital are being implemented in the Republic of Belarus in the fields of woodworking, retail trade, production of medicines, energy, agriculture and mechanical engineering. Among the major investors: «Vakaru Medienos Grupe» (investment in wood processing), «Modus Group» (renewable energy), «VP Grupe», «Senukai», «Kesko», «Oma» (retail services).
