For foreign citizens visiting the Republic of Belarus for the purpose of the 2014 Ice Hockey World Championship

A visa-free regime of the entry to the Republic of Belarus, exit from the Republic of Belarus and temporary stay in the Republic of Belarus will be established from 25 April to 31 May 2014 for the official participants of the Championship (sportsmen, coaches, service staff, referees, heads of the International Ice Hockey Federation and National Ice Hockey Federations, accredited representatives of foreign mass media) and foreign tourists.

The grounds for a visa-free entry are as follows:

• for official participants of the Championship – inclusion into the list of the official accreditation system of the International Ice Hockey Federation,
• for foreign tourists – original or electronic ticket to the matches of the Championship.

Please be aware that in case of transit through the territory of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens need to obtain in advance a transit visa of the Russian Federation.

No medical insurance will be required from 25 April to 31 May 2014 for the official participants and foreign tourists attending the Championship.
