  • arterial hypertension;
  • emergency and interventional cardiology;
  • cardiac rhythm disturbances;
  • functional group  of  circulatory clinical pathophysiology;
  • chronic ischemic heart disease;
  • chronic heart failure;

  • rehabilitation of cardiologic and cardiosurgical patients;

The structure of the Centre also includes:

Advisory for adults and children outpatient departments, clinical diagnostic laboratory, department of functional diagnostics, US, exercise therapy gym for rehabilitation for patients who underwent cardiac surgery, physical rehabilitation for patients after myocardial infarction, and a cabinet of physiotherapeutic treatment.

Treatment options

Therapeutic (medical, physiotherapeutic)

Interventional treatment methods: CHD and peripheral aretry diseases (balloon angioplasty, stenting), heart defects (ventricular septal defect, atrial septal defect, PDA closure), arrhythmias and chronic heart failure (radiofrequency ablation, resynchronizing therapy). Pacemaker implanting and programming

Surgical treatment:(coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), MCBG, congenital and acquired heart defect correction, heart valvular prostheses  & reconstruction, arterial, aortal prosthesis, venous surgeries), transmyocardial laser revascularization

Every year more than 3 thousands of heart surgeries  are performed.

The operations distribution is the following:

  • 40-45%-open heart operations,
  • 20-25% in heart rhythm disturbances
  • 15-20%-X-ray endovascularvascular surgeries, and
  • 10%- vascular surgeries

The equipment available in the Centre meets world standards.

Heart transplantation
