Republican Scientific and Practical Centre for Mental Health is the leading and the biggest institution in the mental health care system in Belarus. We have well established traditions of mental care delivered at the best possible level and endeavour to develop our services to meet the needs of our patients and community implementing contemporary trends in mental care. The Centre also plays the major role in coordination and organization of mental care in Belarus. Republican Scientific and Practical Centre for Mental Health works in close cooperation with Departments of Psychiatry, Medical Psychology and Addiction Medicine of Belarusian State Medical University and Belarusian Medical Academy of Post-Graduate Education and provides clinical base for them. Republican Scientific and Practical Centre for Mental Health has a long history of fruitful international cooperation and participated in a number of international projects also under the aegis of The World Health Organization. We did our best to make available to our patients the whole range of the latest scientifically based methods of treatment used in mental and addiction care. We can also provide residential care for the elderly. Diagnostics and treatment are provided according to the national standards and regulations. We are permanently implementing the multi-dimensional quality control of our services. Our professionals participate in trainings and educational programs within the framework of continued medical education.
