Republican Scientific and Practical Centre “Mother and Child”
The state institution “The Republican Scientific and Practical Centre "Mother and Child" is a modern and unique medical institution established in November 2004 as the leading Belarusian centre in obstetrics and gynaecology, neonatology, paediatrics and medical genetics.
Its structure, equipment and high professional skills, application of modern efficient methods of prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation allows the Centre to provide medical and educational services for foreigners.

All examinations and tests are made by modern high-tech and expert diagnosis equipment using up-to-date anaesthesia methods.
In the Centre we elaborate and introduce technologies of providing specialized medical care to women with the most severe obstetric and extragenital pathology: diagnosis, prevention and treatment of massive thromboembolic complications in pregnancy, including thrombotic pulmonary embolism and generalized deep vein thrombosis with the use of anticoagulant and thrombolytic therapy, surgical ways of thrombosis correction and integrated management of pregnancy and delivery, technologies of management of pregnancy and delivery of women with uncorrected valvular defects complicated by severe pulmonary hypertension.
A special advantage was given to low invasive surgical interventions in obstetrics and gynecology.
We use high-tech and complicated medical interventions such as fetal micro-invasive surgery, including fetoscopic correction of antenatal fetal pathology, cordocentesis with intrauterine transfusion, chorion villus biopsy in the first trimester of pregnancy (from 10 weeks and 5 days to 13 weeks), transpupillar laser photocoagulation and cryosurgery in the treatment of retinopathy of premature infants, invasive monitoring of central hemodynamics using arterial lines of premature newborn.
Scientifically substantiated approaches of optimization of surfactant therapy of premature newborn, including early use in the delivery room, with further using of CPAP systems and high-frequency oscillatory artificial lung ventilation were developed and put into practice.
The Center provides full medical care using auxiliary reproductive technologies for treatment of serious forms of infertility when natural conception is impossible (IVF in various versions). Diagnostics of male infertility using sperm quality analyzer SQA-V is carried out.
