The National Science and Practice Centre of Medical Assessment and Rehabilitation

The National Science and Practice Centre of Medical Assessment and Rehabilitation is the only specialized centre in Belarus that provides medical rehabilitation services on the commercial bases, including for citizens of far- abroad and neighboring countries, after radical treatment of malignant tumors of mamma, feminine genital organs and other neoplasm related diseases, as well as rehabilitation of patients with nervous and osteomuscular system diseases, of otorinolaryngological patients, of patients with cardiovascular system diseases and with metabolic disorders.

The rehabilitation programme includes a wide range of rehabilitation measures. The most important components of medical rehabilitation are psychotherapy and psychological advice, exercise therapy and physiotherapy, selection of medication treanment . The particular types of physical curative impacts are selected depending on the localiza¬tion and nature of pathological process and individual features of the patient.

The rehabilitation of patients is managed by highly qualified experts, with considerable knowledge and many years of experience in the field.

The Center is equipped with the state of the art equipment for rehabilita-tion including apparatus for low frequency and low intensity magnetotherapy «Magnetoturbotron», apparatus «Magnetomed», apparatus «Lymphamat», apparatus «Pressomed» and other instruments.

The National Science and Practice Centre of Medical Assessment and Rehabilitation is located 10 km away from the edge of the town, in a pictures-que forest, on the bank of an artificial lake, near the settlement of Gorodische. The combination of moderate climate of the mid-European geographical area, beautiful landscape, mixed forest and clean air provides the most favorable conditions for rehabilitation activities.

The Center has cabinets of:

• functional diagnosis.

The rehabilitation course lasts 14 days.
